Our ability to provide much needed services to the local community is contingent on continued community support. Every donation is used to provide free, confidential services to survivors of sexual assault in Barrow, Banks, and Jackson Counties.
Financial gifts qualify for federal tax deductions if you itemize your return. For tax purposes, a gift of cash is considered made on the date it is postmarked, submitted online or hand-delivered.
Here is what your donation will provide
- $35 will provide one hour of therapy for an adult rape survivor
- $40 will underwrite a presentation at a community organization, school, or work place
- $60 will fund the 24-hours crisis hotline for one month
- $350 will provide 10 hours of individual therapy for an adult rape survivor
- $800 will support 40 hours of crisis intervention training for an entire class of volunteers to answer the 24-hour rape crisis hotline. Because of this service, every hour of the day, every day of the year, staff and volunteers of the Piedmont Rape Crisis Center are on call to advocate for the needs of rape survivors and their families.
